| Additional Services
Prenotification: Participants can be reminded of the date, time, and subject of the video conference by telephone or by fax.
Subconferencing: Video conferences may be broken down into smaller conferences without disconnection, and then rejoined to the main conference if desired. This option is ideal for subcommittee meetings.
Full Conference Monitoring: The Conference Specialist may be requested to "sit in" during the video conference through its entire duration for continuous assistance.
Continuous Presence: More than one participant may be viewed at the same time. We currently offer the ability to view Dual View (two images), Quad View (four images), and Mixed Mode (six images).
Presentation Mode: A select group of sites may discuss an issue in Talk/Listen mode while the "audience" is placed in Listen-only mode. The video source may be switched automatically or manually (by a Conference Specialist). The Presentation Mode minimizes unwanted interruptions and background noise. It is ideal for large groups and training sessions.
Transcoding: Transcoding allows video conferences among sites that are using different bandwidths. For example, one site may be transmitting at 128 kbps, while another one may be transmitting at 384 kbps. With transcoding, each site may become a video source and actively participate in the conference.
Video Conference Recording: The conference may be recorded to serve as a formal record of your meeting. In addition, recordings may be duplicated for distribution.
Hybrid Conferencing: Hybrid Conferencing allows participants to join conferences via video or, if they don't have access to a video terminal, via audio. These video conferences are increasingly popular because they integrate the features of both audio and video conferencing.
